Rolled into Norris Point after checking in at the Gros Morne visitor centre. We were lucky to find that we had an hour before the boat set out. Rode down the short distance into the harbour and got on board. The crew were very entertaining. They could do stand-up in any comedy show. They gave us a superb tour of the two adjoining fjords and provided a great deal of the history of the area, as well as the geology. At the end of the two-hour cruise, a couple of the crew members (who play in a band called Anchors Away) got out their instruments and broke into song, playing great Newfoundland tunes.
